Shipping Policy
- I create and ship from Zagreb, Croatia.
- I ship to every country in the world.
- Shipping within Croatia: €5 (GLS, flat rate).
- International shipping: €7 + €2 for each additional piece of jewelry.
- Parcels are usually shipped via GLS (HR) or national postal services (Croatian Post, USPS, Royal Mail, Deutsche Post, etc.).
In the Galacta studio every piece of jewelry is made by hand and to order, with great care for your inclusions and the story you entrust to me. This means the production time is a bit longer than for ready-made jewelry, but you receive a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
✦ Production and shipping time
Standard models (silver, gold-plated silver, standard shapes and configurations) are made within up to 20 business days from the moment your inclusions (milk, hair lock, tooth, etc.) arrive at the studio.
Premium pieces (solid gold jewelry, pieces set with cubic zirconia or precious stones, and designs made entirely from scratch) require more time, and their estimated production time is around 50 business days.
In exceptional situations (a higher number of orders, supplier delays, custom projects, consecutive public holidays, vacation, illness, etc.) production may take longer than expected. If this happens, you will always be informed by e-mail about the circumstances and the updated estimated delivery time.
As soon as your jewelry is finished and ready to ship, I hand it over to the courier, and you receive a dispatch confirmation by e-mail.
✦ Shipping methods and prices
I ship from Zagreb to all countries worldwide. Shipping cost depends on the destination and is calculated automatically in your cart before checkout.
- Croatia: shipping is €5 (flat rate), parcels are shipped via GLS.
- Rest of the world: standard shipping is around €7, plus €2 for each additional piece of jewelry in the same parcel.
For international orders I use standard postal services such as Croatian Post, USPS, Royal Mail, Deutsche Post and similar, depending on the recipient country.
Shipping within Croatia usually takes up to 5 business days, while delivery within Europe and former Yugoslav countries typically takes 5–15 business days. For more distant destinations, delivery may take a bit longer.
✦ What if my parcel is delayed?
Especially around holidays or during busy periods for postal and courier services, parcels can occasionally travel longer than usual.
When your order is dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number. Please follow the tracking information and contact your local post office or courier if you notice that the parcel has been stuck on the same status for an unusually long time.
If you do not receive your order within 30 days from the dispatch confirmation e-mail, please contact me at galacta.jewelry@gmail.com with your name and order number, and I will check the status for you.
✦ Lost or unclaimed parcels
In the rare case that a postal service loses a parcel, we will use the archived replica and preserved milk (within the agreed storage period) to find the best solution for a remake or reshipment, in line with the warranty terms.
Please pay attention to the pickup deadlines at your local post office or parcel locker. If, for any reason, the customer does not collect the parcel in time and it is automatically returned to Galacta, reshipping costs are covered by the customer – the full shipping amount must be paid again.
✦ Shipping outside the European Union & customs fees
If you are located outside the European Union, your parcel may be subject to customs inspection and additional charges (customs, VAT, brokerage or handling fees). These costs are not included in the price of the jewelry or shipping and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

✦ Defective or damaged parcels
Despite careful packaging, damage can still occur during transport. If your jewelry arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible at galacta.jewelry@gmail.com with a short description of the issue and a photo.
Returns and repairs are handled as a priority, with options for repair, remake or another solution in line with the Returns policy.
✦ Address details & delivery safety
Before completing your order, please double-check that your address is correct (name, street and number, postal code, city and country). Incomplete or incorrect addresses can lead to returned parcels or additional costs.
If you realise there is a mistake in your address, contact me as soon as possible. If the parcel has already been handed over to the courier, changes are unfortunately usually no longer possible.
